Woolen Fabric RFQ: Prepare a Comparable Enquiry

A useful fabric enquiry says what the garment needs, which references you are comparing and which specifications remain open. It helps Fred reply on a defined basis.

Fred Textile blend photographic fabric reference
Representative fabric direction. Specifications and sample availability are confirmed by Fred.

Provide the garment and reference together

State the garment, silhouette, season or intended use and sample purpose. Include the selected direction IDs and any actual article code Fred has already provided. A photograph can explain the visual target, while the written brief identifies what you need to confirm.

Separate a required fibre condition from an appearance preference. List the composition, weight and usable-width targets you know; leave unknown values open. Do not convert a direction name into a product specification or claim a test result that has not been documented.

Make quantity and approval requirements visible

Give an estimated total quantity, the unit and colour split if known. Mention the intended sample and bulk stages separately. State the target schedule as your requirement and ask Fred to confirm the feasible route, rather than assuming your date is an accepted delivery commitment.

Include the care intent, making concerns and any testing or documentation requirements from your buyer. Ask which article and revision a proposed result or report will cover. The reply should identify the remaining questions before a quotation is treated as comparable.

Ask for a structured supplier reply

Request proposed article identification, declared composition, finished GSM, usable width, finishing information, sample arrangement and applicable commercial basis. Ask Fred to clarify the MOQ scope, colour conditions and next approval steps for that program.

Keep the original reply and your comparison notes together. If another article, colour route or quantity is suggested, update the brief so both sides are discussing the same basis. Use this site to prepare and export the enquiry, then review and send it yourself.
