Local sample selection

Reference IDs and selection timestamps are stored in your browser for up to 30 days after your last selection change. The shortlist stays on this device. You can remove it using “Clear shortlist”. If browser storage is unavailable, selection is kept only for the current visit.

Project and contact information

The sample enquiry tool keeps your name, contact details, quantity and free-text project information in the current page while you edit. This information is not saved in the shortlist or submitted to a website enquiry endpoint. Refreshing the page discards the form input.

When you copy, download or print the brief, you choose where that copy goes. Downloaded files may contain the information you entered.

Email, WhatsApp and external links

Opening your email app prepares a draft addressed to Fred. You review and send it yourself. WhatsApp links contain a short source and garment topic, without your full brief or contact details. Fred’s website, your email provider and WhatsApp handle information under their own policies.

Cookies, logs and analytics

WordPress may use cookies for administrator sign-in and the hosting service may keep routine access and security logs. The Google Analytics integration described below measures public page visits and selected tool actions. The sample enquiry tool does not create a customer enquiry database on this website.

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and public selection-tool actions, such as adding a fabric direction, preparing a sample shortlist or downloading an enquiry brief. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect technical visit information, including browser, device and approximate location.

Our custom analytics events do not include the text of your enquiry, name, company, email address or contact fields. A prepared enquiry is not counted as a sent message or completed order. The Google tag is provided by Google; see its privacy information for details of its processing.
